Shipping Policies

PROCESSING TIME:
The time I need to prepare an order for shipping varies. I normally ship within 1-3 days. In fact, if I receive an order at least 2 hours before the Post Office closes your item will go out the same day.  If not, then by 9 AM the next morning.  I don't mind making more than one trip to the Post Office on any given day. ;-)  
Customized orders will take a longer processing time.  I will keep the buyer informed as to a possible shipping date as I customize their order.
PACKAGING:
I will package your item with the utmost care to assure its safe arrival.  I first wrap in tissue paper, then bubble wrap for fragile items.  I use Christmas wrap, peanuts, airbags and sometimes newspaper to secure your item in the box.  I package your item as I would want someone to package mine for safe delivery.
SHIPPING COMPANY:
I use US Postal Service (USPS) when shipping my orders. Please double check the shipping address you provide.  I copy and paste that address into your shipping label.  I am not responsible for packages lost due to an incorrect address.  Should you want a package shipped to another address, please put that address in the SHIP TO section when placing your order.
NOTE:  I will and do REFUND overages in shipping costs.
CANCELLATIONS:  Once an order is placed, I immediately start to prepare your order for shipping.  That also includes purchasing a shipping label.  If you need to cancel, I will need notice an hour after your purchase.  Should that not happen, I will cancel and refund the amount of the item less shipping costs unless I can get the shipping cost refunded by the provider.  I will keep you informed as to what is happening with your cancelled order.  I still need to pay fees on your purchase.  Those fees will also be taken out of your refund.  I am sorry I had to even add this cancellation paragraph into my policies.  I hope you understand why this NEW policy is necessary.  Judy
 
CUSTOMS AND IMPORT TAXES:
At this time I am not shipping Internationally.  I hope to ship Internationally in the future.  I am a new shop and need time to become more familiar with the Shopify processes.  Once I am comfortable with my new store, I will then start shipping Internationally.
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.
NOTE:  Shopify's shipping is new to me.  I WILL refund any amount over $2.00.
