First, let me say I am not a writer. I would like to share the excitement I am feeling as I am getting ready to open my NEW Shopify store.
For weeks I have been working hard to get my listings entered into my store. I did everything backwards...working on listing first and then working on all of the major frontend stuff. Because I had so many listings, I thought I would never finish...but I finally did finish. I thought the hard part was over, but found out that wasn't really true. Yes, my listing were done, but figuring out how to do the rest was daunting to me.
It took me 6 1/2 hours to figure out how to make a dropdown menu. When I finally figured it out after watching a video many times and reading the directions over and over again, I was so proud of my self...It was something very simple that I continued doing incorrectly. I kept telling myself I can do this...keep trying, and I did.
Once I conquered Dropdown menus, everything else seemed to fall into place.
I believe I am about ready to open my store for the world to see. I am feeling nervous because I am not sure I did everything correctly, especially the shipping part. I guess I won't know about that until I make my first sale...My hand shakes everytime I think I am ready to click on the publish button...I hope I feel comfortable clicking on that button soon! ;-)
I would love feedback on my NEW store. What did you like about it? What do I need to improve on? How can I make it a better place to shop? Are my pictures ok? Did I describe my items well enough to give you a good idea on what you might want to purchase? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Until the next time...HAPPY SHOPPING!
